The Problem

Despite 16+ years of grassroots work across Hazaribagh, Chatra, and Giridih, Ambedkar Foundation had no website or digital presence, making it hard for funders and partners to find or verify the organization online. Financial record-keeping was handled informally, without a structured bookkeeping system, and the Foundation lacked professionally drafted concept notes, project proposals, and governance policies — all increasingly essential given its 12A, 80G, and CSR-1 status and its push into CSR and institutional funding. Its strong track record of community programs was also not documented in a form funders or partners could easily reference.

The Approach

ImpactOS built a professional website to give the Foundation a credible online presence, set up an organized bookkeeping and accounting system for cleaner financial record-keeping, and drafted concept notes and project proposals aligned to CSR and institutional funder expectations. ImpactOS also developed governance policies to strengthen the Foundation's compliance posture, and produced project reports and case studies documenting its on-ground work with women, children, SC/ST groups, and other underserved communities.

The Outcome

Ambedkar Foundation now has a professional online presence, a structured system for managing its finances, and a ready set of proposals, policies, and documented case studies to support its fundraising and compliance efforts — putting it in a stronger position to pursue CSR and institutional funding going forward.
